The Capitol City Card Club was founded May 11, 2014 when nine individuals with common interest met and decided to create a club that would fulfill their card playing and social interest. The nine founding members of C4 are Raymond E. Jackson, Sandra Edmonds, Virgie B. Morton, J. Steven Edmonds, Fred Hardin, William "Bill" Atkinson, Floyd Richardson, Dr. Roderick L. Smothers and Yvette Walton. At the Capitol City Card Club we strive to gather, meet and socialize to create a warm and competitive atmosphere for all our members and guest.

By continuing the legacy of traditional card games and the perfection of play, skill and strategies thereof, C4 endeavors to convene and connect individuals of like minds and interests to promote spirited fellowship, community engagement and meaningful outreach opportunities for the betterment of the Greater Austin Community and beyond.
